The application forms part of Emerson’s growing edge ecosystem, giving engineering, maintenance, reliability, and leadership teams browser-based, read-only access to live plant displays exactly as operators see them—without the need for display conversion, additional engineering, or system modifications.
In increasingly volatile markets, the ability to make rapid, informed decisions is essential to operational excellence. DeltaV Live Enterprise View addresses this by leveraging Emerson’s edge capabilities to deliver live DeltaV displays through secure, read-only browser access, available from anywhere within the network.
According to Sean Saul, Vice President of Product for Emerson’s Process Systems and Solutions business, the solution is particularly well suited to organisations using the DeltaV Edge Environment as a secure OT-to-IT data platform. As part of the expanding DeltaV Edge Marketplace, it enhances Emerson’s enterprise operations platform by delivering operator-grade, real-time visualisation via standard web browsers, improving collaboration and operational performance.
Unlike many enterprise visualisation tools that require duplication or redesign of graphics, DeltaV Live Enterprise View renders displays exactly as configured in DeltaV Live. This ensures users across the enterprise see consistent, role-based visualisations, reducing complexity and accelerating adoption.
The solution provides secure, read-only visibility through unidirectional data flow via the DeltaV Edge Environment, ensuring access to contextualised data while maintaining strict system boundaries.
DeltaV Live Enterprise View joins a suite of edge applications, including DeltaV Edge Explorer and DeltaV Agent.Connect, along with curated open-source tools such as Grafana, Jupyter Notebook, and Node-RED. Together, these applications enable enterprise-wide optimisation through advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, custom dashboards, alarm analysis, workflow automation, and batch investigation.
As Emerson continues to develop its enterprise operations platform—described as a flexible, software-defined OT-ready digital foundation built on scalable control, industrial AI, and zero-trust cybersecurity—the company says innovations like DeltaV Live Enterprise View will further support seamless scaling from edge to enterprise.
