MAGNA™, a Terex brand specialising in large‑scale crushing, screening and conveying solutions, will make its Hillhead debut this June, exhibiting on stand L4 with the MT400C large cone crusher and MT6S heavy‑duty scalping screen. Introduced in 2024, the brand has since gained traction through customer open days in the UK and USA before making its first major international exhibition appearance at CONEXPO‑CON/AGG, with Hillhead marking its first UK show.
Developed to deliver high output, large reduction ratios and consistent cubical product shape for aggregates producers and contractors, the MT400C cone crusher incorporates a large capacity 8m3 (10.4yds3) hopper and feeder, combined with an automated metal detection system and purge chute to protect the cone and minimise unplanned downtime.
The MT400C is also equipped with full hydraulic closed side setting adjustment with electronic monitoring, a fuel‑efficient direct drive system through a wet clutch, and a hydraulic tramp relief system with automatic reset. Additional features include multiple liner configurations to suit a wide range of applications, cone overload protection, dust suppression, and MAGNA telemetry as standard.
Also on display will be the MT6S, which has been engineered for high‑volume materials processing across quarrying, mining, construction and demolition debris, topsoil, recycling, sand, gravel, coal, ore and aggregate applications. Designed to operate in demanding environments, the mobile scalping screen offers a throughput of up to 800 tonnes per hour, with the flexibility to be fed by a tracked crusher, shovel or excavator.
At the heart of the MT6S is a 6.1m x 1.8m (20’ x 6’) aggressive top deck screen and a 5.5m x 1.8m (18’ x 6’) bottom deck, mounted in a modular screen box configuration. Hydraulic adjustment allows the screen angle to be set between 14–18°, while the discharge end can be raised by 600mm to simplify media access and changes. All stockpiling conveyors feature hydraulic angle adjustment and extending head sections to maximise discharge height and stockpile capacity.
Commenting ahead of MAGNA’s Hillhead debut, Neil McIlwaine, Business Line Director for MAGNA said: “Following a very strong response to the MT130J mobile jaw crusher, our flagship machine at CONEXPO, Hillhead is an important next step for the brand. It gives us the opportunity to introduce MT400C and MT6S to customers, to show the scale, build quality and focus on output and reliability that underpin the MAGNA range.”
Hillhead marks the first UK exhibition appearance for MAGNA, as the brand continues to introduce its range to key international markets. Visitors can see both machines up close on stand L4 throughout Hillhead 2026. For more information please visit: www.terex.com/magna
