Makor Resources has consolidated district-scale copper exposure across the Mumbwa, Ndola and Mkushi districts, establishing a structurally coherent portfolio within extensions of Zambia’s copper system and advancing priority targets toward phased validation.
The portfolio combines greenfield structural targets, brownfield-adjacent licenses and proximity positions within defined mineralized corridors, reflecting a disciplined consolidation strategy grounded in geological continuity and district relevance.
“We are not pursuing isolated targets — we are consolidating district-relevant copper exposure within structurally defined corridors aligned with Zambia’s production expansion,” said Brooke Bibeault, Chief Executive Officer.
Muli Copper Project – Mumbwa District
The Muli Copper Project is Makor’s flagship greenfield copper asset in the Mumbwa district and anchors the company’s Central Province strategy.
Located approximately 30 kilometres from the Sinomine Kitumba copper deposit, Muli lies within a structurally prospective corridor aligned with the regional mineral system.
Internal structural interpretation has identified four principal fault corridors across the license area, establishing a district-scale structural framework with multiple interpreted mineralization vectors considered favorable for fault-controlled copper mineralization within copper-bearing stratigraphy.
Work completed to date includes structural mapping, geological reconnaissance and preliminary geochemical sampling across these corridors. Data integration is refining priority targets for follow-up programs.
The next phase will include:
Expanded surface geochemical sampling
Detailed structural and lithological mapping
Target ranking across structural intersections
Initial drill planning across prioritized zones
Drill testing will proceed subject to technical evaluation and target confirmation.
Ndola – Brownfield-Adjacent Structural Exposure
In Ndola, Makor controls exploration licenses positioned within established copper-bearing stratigraphy of the Katangan Supergroup and proximal to historic and active operations.
The licenses are interpreted to lie within fold-thrust structural regimes characteristic of the broader Copperbelt system, where mineralization is commonly associated with stratigraphic continuity and structurally controlled fluid pathways.
This positioning provides exposure within a proven mineral district supported by infrastructure, established geological frameworks and demonstrated system fertility, enhancing exploration leverage within a structurally mature copper environment.
Mkushi – Structural Continuity and Consolidation Optionality
Makor’s Mkushi positions provide exposure contiguous with mineralized trends within structurally coherent belts interpreted to represent extensions of established systems.
The portfolio structure — comprising 100% owned licenses, exclusive exploration rights and joint venture arrangements — enables disciplined advancement while preserving consolidation flexibility within defined geological corridors.
The objective in Mkushi is systematic evaluation of structurally favorable ground capable of supporting district-scale relevance as validation progresses.
Operating Continuity
The portfolio has been assembled over a multi-year operating presence within Zambia.
This continuity has established familiarity with regulatory processes, district governance frameworks and traditional leadership structures, supporting structured exploration advancement within established jurisdictions.
Corporate Structure & Mandate
Makor operates as a focused copper exploration company.
The company is led by Chief Executive Officer Brooke Bibeault and Executive Chair Ricus Grimbeek. Leadership integrates executive-level female representation within Zambia’s mining sector alongside senior operational and technical expertise across exploration and project development environments.
MineHive, the company’s previously established community-focused and artisanal and small-scale mining initiative, now operates independently, enabling Makor to concentrate exclusively on copper exploration and district advancement.
Strategic Context
Zambia has articulated ambitions to materially increase annual copper production over the coming decade.
Makor’s positions within Mumbwa, Ndola and Mkushi align the company with this expansion trajectory, providing exposure across greenfield discovery potential and brownfield-adjacent districts within a globally significant copper jurisdiction.
