CDE launches ModaLine containerised sand washing system for fast, plug-and-play deployment

CDE has introduced ModaLine, a new containerised sand washing solution designed to deliver plug-and-play operation for both recycled and natural materials processing.

The company said ModaLine enables faster project start-ups, reducing on-site construction time by more than 60% compared to conventional wash plants. Its modular, transportable design allows for rapid installation and commissioning, making it particularly suited to operations requiring flexibility and mobility.

The system integrates CDE’s established washing technologies, including a dual-pass cyclone, Infinity dewatering screen, sand blending chute and high-capacity sump. It also features a single-point water connection, onboard control panel and the option to incorporate external stockpile conveyors, offering a complete, pre-configured solution.

Built within a durable steel frame aligned to ISO container dimensions, ModaLine is designed for ease of transport and quick site deployment. Initial models offer feed capacities of up to 250 tonnes per hour and 450 tonnes per hour.

According to the company, the solution has been developed with both equipment dealers and end users in mind. By delivering a pre-wired, pre-tested and pre-assembled unit with fixed specifications, ModaLine simplifies commissioning, reduces risk and accelerates time to production.

Industry partners have highlighted the system’s potential for remote or temporary operations, where quick setup and relocation are critical. The compact, modular design is expected to provide operational flexibility while maintaining the performance standards associated with CDE’s established wash plant technologies.

Overall, ModaLine reflects a broader shift toward modular, efficient and rapidly deployable solutions in materials processing, supporting improved productivity and reduced installation complexity.
