Develon has introduced the DX270WMH-7, a 27-tonne wheeled material handler engineered for recycling, demolition, timber, and scrap handling, now available in Europe and North America.
The machine is powered by Develon’s six-cylinder DL06V diesel engine, delivering 141 kW at 1,900 rpm. Key updates include a redesigned undercarriage, boom and arm, counterweight, and an elevating cab—enhancements that improve stability, reach, and all-round visibility.
The cab can be raised to 2,603 mm, reinforced for smoother operation and additional protection for hoses and greasing lines. A faster elevation mechanism and internal and external safety valves allow controlled emergency descent.
Customers can choose between straight, gooseneck, and long gooseneck arms, with the straight arm supplied as standard. The DX270WMH-7 also features Develon’s Smart Power Control system, which automatically balances engine speed and pump torque to maximize fuel efficiency without compromising performance.
Inside, operators benefit from a redesigned cab with an 8-inch gauge panel, ergonomic joysticks and steering wheel, and a virtual wall system that lets users set boundaries to avoid collisions with obstacles or overhead structures.
Building on its legacy in material handling, Develon—formerly Doosan Construction Equipment—has equipped the model with a wider wheelbase, independently controlled stabilizers, and a standard reversing fan that automatically clears dust and debris to maintain optimal engine temperatures.
